### Who does this at volume

- **General contractors.** Subcontracting to an unregistered
contractor is unlawful, and your subs' registrations expire on their own
schedule — 9,307 of the
active ones lapse in the earliest year on file alone.
- **Property managers and developers.** Every job, three checks,
three files.
- **Insurers and surety brokers.** The bond and policy tables
are the market you underwrite.
- **Anyone reconciling businesses to people.**
19,695 registrations share a principal with another business.

### What we can do on your list

- **Resolve a list.** Send licence numbers, UBIs or business
names; get back a CSV with status, specialty, city, bond amount and surety,
insurance amount and insurer, expiry dates, and the principals.
- **Flag the gaps.** Active with no bond, active with no policy,
a bond that expires before your job ends, a suspension in the past.
- **Watch a list.** L&I refreshes daily and reports no
change log. We keep every collection and tell you what moved — a suspension, a
lapsed policy, a registration that stopped renewing.
- **Query it.** A JSON endpoint by licence number or UBI.
